​By purchasing a ticket for an event organised by Lauriston Events Ltd (“LEL”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to comply with the following Ticket Terms & Conditions of Entry.

1. Ticket Refunds, Exchanges & Order Management
1.1 Tickets are not refundable within 7 days of the event, except as expressly set out below.
1.2 Tickets are exchangeable up to 7 days before the event only. No exchanges will be permitted within 7 days of the event.
1.3 Reselling of tickets is strictly prohibited. Tickets may only be exchanged at face value.
1.4 If any person offers or sells a ticket at a price higher than face value, you must notify Lauriston Events Ltd immediately. Any ticket identified as having been resold above face value will be voided, and the seller’s entry refused. The purchaser will be issued with a ticket at face value where possible.
1.5 Tickets are issued in the attendee’s name and must match:
(a) a valid government-issued photo ID; and
(b) a valid student ID.
1.6 Once an exchange has been approved, the updated ticket must be downloaded via “Manage Tickets” on the official booking page.

2. Refunds via Official Waitlist
2.1 As a gesture of goodwill and to provide as many graduating students as possible with the opportunity to attend, refunds are available only via our official waitlist system, subject to the following conditions:
(a) Only the ticket face value is refundable. Booking, processing, and service fees are non-refundable.
(b) Tickets are eligible for a refund only where there are active buyers on the waitlist.
(c) A refund will be processed only once another buyer has purchased the ticket.
(d) If there are no active buyers on the waitlist, no refund will be issued.
(e) This option is available up to 7 days before the event only.

3. No Changes Within 7 Days of the Event
3.1 No exchanges or refunds are permitted within 7 days of the event.
3.2 Tickets that are under a different name, altered, duplicated, or otherwise invalid will be voided, and entry will be refused.
3.3 All attendees must present their own ticket, a valid government-issued ID, and a valid student ID on entry, all of which must match the Ticket Name.

4. Admission, Identification & Entry
4.1 Admission is strictly limited to the named ticket holder.
4.2 Lauriston Events Ltd reserves the right to:
(a) refuse admission in any circumstances;
(b) refuse entry to, or remove from the venue, any person breaching these terms, committing a criminal offence, behaving in a disorderly or anti-social manner, or acting in a way that may compromise public safety;
(c) refuse entry where identification does not match the ticket details.

5. Ticket Authenticity & Unauthorised Sales
5.1 Tickets are only valid when purchased from TicketTailor, the official Lauriston Events Ltd sales channel.
5.2 Tickets obtained from unauthorised sources may be cancelled without refund and entry refused.
5.3 Duplicate tickets will not be issued for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.
5.4 Where a ticket has been obtained in breach of these terms:
(a) entry may be refused or revoked without notice;
(b) the ticket may be confiscated; and
(c) no refund shall be payable.

6. Data Protection & Privacy
6.1 Personal data collected through ticket purchases and event attendance is processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and applicable data protection laws.
6.2 Your personal data may be used to contact you regarding event updates, operational information, or marketing communications. Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law or necessary to deliver the event.

7. Photography, Filming & Media
7.1 As a condition of entry, ticket holders consent to being photographed, filmed, and recorded as part of the audience for promotional, marketing, operational, or security purposes.
7.2 Personal photography and filming for private, non-commercial use is permitted. Commercial photography, filming, recording, or content creation is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Lauriston Events Ltd.
7.3 Any unauthorised commercial use of images, video, or audio recordings may result in removal from the event and further enforcement action.

8. Liability
8.1 You attend events organised by Lauriston Events Ltd at your own risk.
8.2 Lauriston Events Ltd shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, or theft of property unless caused by our proven negligence.
8.3 We shall not be responsible for any disruption, cancellation, delay, or loss caused by force majeure, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, strikes, public health emergencies, venue closure, or government restrictions.
8.4 By attending an event, you agree to release Lauriston Events Ltd., its employees, contractors, agents, and partners from any claims or liabilities arising from your participation, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

9. Behaviour, Safety & Venue Rules
9.1 Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are not permitted indoors within the venue and are only permitted in designated smoking areas.
9.2 Lauriston Events Ltd reserves the right to take any action necessary to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of all attendees, including refusing entry or removing individuals from the venue.
9.3 Any ticket holder causing damage to the venue, its infrastructure, or harm to another person may be held liable.

10. Event Changes & Force Majeure
10.1 Event details, including performers, schedules, timings, and venue arrangements, are subject to change without notice.
10.2 Lauriston Events Ltd shall not be liable for any changes or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
11.1 These Ticket Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, or England and Wales, as applicable. Both parties agree to handle any dispute arising from this Agreement by submitting said dispute to mediation. If mediation does not successfully resolve the dispute, the parties may proceed to seek an alternative form of resolution in accordance with any other rights and remedies afforded to them by law.
